Review: As a fan of Donald Westlake writing - that made Parker's books under the pseudonym Richard Stark - I have long been puzzled by the filmmakers to adapt his work to the screen. Westlake wrote for the screen itself, and Parker books, but Accion plot. Yes, there's a character, but realize that Parker and his associates do.Vith this fourth attempt to record a Parker novel, the filmmakers have found a practice where a surprising choice for the lead role. Jason Statham is an actor of great oratorical powers, but he is a great actor physically and constantly moving like an angry tiger in a cage. The choice of the plot is set largely in Palm Beach, with artificial, meaningless display of wealth and the only reason for its existence is the perfect place for violence of Parker his fight with Michael Chiklis Melander, Jennifer Lopez notion Leslie, who gets caught without understanding what was happening, gives the audience a good viev.Director Taylor Hackford is a great director, but he is very competent. Sixty years ago it was the director of studies, CREACION work in the style of the house. Give the story that can work to hit all the notes, efficient and effective, and has done so here. If Parker in this film is different from Parker's book, a little more philosophical (although at the end of tiger Do as I say, I will eat the last) we note that the film is not books.
