Review: Except for a single stage end-deadening over-exposed film designed completely necessary on each level (and rather unusual for Kubrick), eyes Wide Shut is utterly to spectacular, and represents yet another sparkling jewel stone-studded crown master filmmakers. Cruise and Kidman surpass all previous work on performance infused with beautiful nuances only hinted at before this trip. Emerging real-life union took every bit of the intensity of feeling unique Kubrick intended, as the movie ultimately depends on the form of the reality of mid-wife relationship. Kubricks tone fulfilled all by promise of the title, continuous delivery of a high texture almost magical imagination for ever hovering between fantasy and reality. Moreover many of the mines director concerns familiar to him themed, including deception, paranoia, and blinding frustration. Eyes Wide Shut is certain to be better scrutinized many of Kubricks other movies (especially since he worked his last), and the treatment of such topics as thoughtful and challenging woman lightning Stick-honesty, sexual jealousy, and perceived risk of disclosure imagination (even one person you trust more than any other) is sure to draw hearts who is driving while others go.
