Review: This delightful film was widely destroyed and smashed all the critics. FF Coppola directed it, but they still beat him. I do not understand. Then-unknown performers was Patrick Swayze, Matt Dillon, C. Thomas Howell, Rob Lowe, Ralph Macchio, Tom Cruise, Emilio Estevez, Diane Lane, and Leif Garrett. All these players went on to fame, but the whole film, theater, writing, were trashed.I thought that cinema was exceptionally good. Nothing Gold Can Stay sunrise scene was beautiful. The angle of the hair cut scenes were creative and friends. Music was an epic sounding, yes, but this film was a huge tie in with Gone with the Wind, I remember. I thought the soft lighting and creamy edge directed the film is very reminiscent of it was filmed in 1939! I do not know. I thought, chracters was very interesting and excellent performances. Many people loved this movie, the ordinary people, like me, that is.
